WARRANTY
Warranty support for your technology.
Onea Shop combines South African statutory consumer protection with applicable manufacturer and supplier warranty processes.
1. Statutory quality warranty
Where the Consumer Protection Act applies, qualifying goods carry the statutory implied warranty of quality for 6 months after delivery. The remedies available under the Act depend on the circumstances and condition of the product.
2. Manufacturer warranties
Most technology products are supplied with a manufacturer or supplier warranty. The warranty period and conditions differ by brand and product. Where a manufacturer has an authorised service process, Onea Shop may direct or assist you through that process.
3. What is normally not covered
- Accidental or physical damage.
- Liquid or moisture damage unless expressly covered.
- Electrical surge damage.
- Unauthorised repairs, modifications or tampering.
- Normal wear and tear or consumable deterioration.
- Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse or failure to follow instructions.
4. Before submitting a device
Back up your data, sign out of personal accounts where possible, remove activation locks if requested, and keep a record of the device serial number. Technical assessment may require a factory reset, so Onea Shop and service partners cannot guarantee preservation of device data.
5. Warranty turnaround
Assessment and repair times depend on the manufacturer, supplier and availability of parts. We will provide status updates where the warranty process is managed through Onea Shop.
